If you haven't seen this series on TNT then you are really missing something special! The tagline from TNT is "Sara Pezzini, the story of a woman who started out a cop, and became something more." That would be an understatement. In many cases, a series that originated as a comic book becomes a campy, cliched series that is more cheese than substance. This is not the case with Witchblade. The characters are well-rounded and believable, even within the framework of a supernatural plotline. However, just because the series is an action/drama does not mean there is no humor. The humor can be found in the interaction of the characters. Genetic enhancements and supernatural gauntlet aside, these people are human, and they show it in all that they do. In my opinion, this makes Witchblade all the more enjoyable.
